How do I import my LinkedIn Connections?

Exporting Connections from LinkedIn
You can export a CSV file of your connections from the Contact Settings page on the LinkedIn desktop site.

Note: Only the contact’s full name, email address, current employer, and position are exported.

To export LinkedIn connections:

  1. Log in to your LinkedIn Account
  2. Click the My Network icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage.
  3. Then click Connections on the left.
  4. Select Manage synced and imported contacts near the top right of the page.
  5. Under Advanced actions on the right, click Export contacts. You may be prompted to sign into your account.
  6. Select Pick and Choose
  7. Select Connections
  8. Click Request Archive.
  9. You will receive an email to your Primary Email address which will include a link where you can download your list of connections.
  10. If you’re using Internet Explorer and you see a yellow pop-up blocker across the top or bottom of the page: Click the yellow bar to allow popups.
  11. Select Save As.
  12. Save the file in your desired location.
  13. Open File
  14. Highly and delete Notes Rows at the top the report. 1 & 2
  15. Column headers should now be listed in Row 1
  16. Save
  17. Now go back to CircleCloser, and click on +Add Contact.
  18. Click on Bulk Import Contacts.
  19. Select the file you saved from LinkedIn and you are in business!
